Your English-speaking guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:00 a.m. and transport you to take you to Yangon’s Central Railway Station.
Built in a traditional Burmese style the Central Railway Station was designated as a landmark building in 1996. Here you will board the Circle Line Train whose 28.5 miles of track make a grand loop around Yangon passing through its many satellite towns and suburban areas.
After about a 1-hour train ride you will disembark at Insein Station and proceed to Insein Market. This daily, outdoor market is always filled with farm fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, meats and locally caught fish, as well as all manner of consumer goods from clothing to household items.
After that, transfer back to your hotel.
Important tour note: this tour is not recommended for disabled people because of no air conditioning in the cars of the Circle Line Train and seating is on older bench seats with trash on the floor.
